Philsquare is very excited to be a part of the newly launched I Heart Local Music website here in Lawrence, Kansas. The site “is a place for music lovers in Lawrence to gather” and “was started out of a deep love and appreciation for the local music scene.”
Fally Afani Ruzik, founder of the site, decided to use WordPress as the foundation of her website due to the “user-friendly aspect of the service” and because “it is really easy to create lively posts and provide information to readers”. WordPress allows Fally (and any contributers in the future) to have control over content including submitting blog posts, creating photo galleries and adding news and concert events.
