Last fall, The University of Kansas Alumni Association came to Philsquare asking for a site to better represent its organization. The Association needed a prestigious and professional site to showcase the University and Assocation, attract new members and better communicate to current members.
The new website involves organized content, an easy-to-understand menu structure and a sticking menu- as you scroll down the menu decreases in size but remains at top of page. All the content is, of course, easily updated by the KUAA staff so they can quickly communicate with its members. Philsquare custom designed a few landing pages to give visitors to the Association website a better idea of what content is available on the site.
The "Join" page gives visitors and prospective members a great visual overview of the Associations costs and benefits:
The "Events & Programs" page gives visitors an overview of the great things the Association plans for its members and opportunities available. (Mediterranean cruise with fellow Jayhawks, anyone?!) Instead of each event being listed in the drop-down menu, visitors can see all the events on one page and click-through on what interests them most:
Another layout Philsquare created for the KU Alumni Association is the news page. This page shows posts about KU news and alumni updates. The Association has great photography and video which really allows the website and its great content to shine:
Two-thirds of the Philsquare team are KU grads so we were very excited to work on this project! We loved being able to help our alma mater's Alumni Association create a more beautiful and welcoming online presence. Visit the KU Alumni Association and give us a shout out in the comments if you're a KU alum, too!
Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
